Jennifer Head, M.S., CCC-SLP
Jennifer has been in the field of Speech Language Pathology for 20 years. She attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA where she received her bachelor of science and master of science degrees in Speech Language Pathology. Jennifer is a current member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence and her license to practice in the state of Georgia.
Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings, including: public school, hospital, outpatient rehabilitation, nursing home, and early intervention. Jennifer has extensive experience performing evaluations and developing Individualized Education Plans as well as developing plans of care for a wide range of communication disorders. She has provided therapy for several disorders, including: receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia, auditory processing disorders, dysphagia, and alternative/augmentative communication use. Jennifer has worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Angelman's Syndrome, Down Syndrome, TBI, Apraxia of Speech, Cerebral Palsy, Auditory Processing Disorder, developmental delays, and learning difficulties.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, doing yoga, running, and volunteering with Canine Assistants.
