Danielle received a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1995 in Speech and Language Pathology with a minor concentration in English Literature. She received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and her Teacher Certificate for the Speech and Hearing Handicapped in 1997 at The College of Saint Rose, also in New York State. She is a current member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She has worked in both public and private schools in New York and Georgia as well as in the private practice sector. Danielle has moderated, lectured and given in-services to faculty, parents and students in both New York and Georgia. She is a Fast Forward and Reading Assistant Provider. She was a featured speaker at the Learning Disability of Georgia Conference in 2009, appeared on the television program Focus On Atlanta in 2010, and was a featured speaker for Dekalb County Schools in 2011. For the past several years, Danielle has attended the Learning And The Brain Conference in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been trained in the Lindamood Bell Programs. Other conferences and seminars attended include "DIR-Floortime: An Introduction to the Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-Based Model for Special Needs Children," The Boss is Out: Helping Students with Executive Dysfunction," "Executive Functioning, Helping the Chaotic Child and Adolescent'', The Women's Leadership Conference, Attention, Language Processing and Sensorimotor Disorders in Children: New Integrative Approaches to Assessment and Intervention, "Teaching All Kinds of Minds", and CHADD-The Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder National Conference as well as hosting a webinar on International Adopted Children and Language Issues. Danielle has served on the Advisory and Editorial Board for Kids Enabled, a national, award winning digital magazine dedicated to children of different abilities. When not at work, Danielle can be found singing and performing at various charity events such as FOCUS Georgia (2010) and Crystal Boots and Silver Saddles (2011). Her biggest accomplishment to date, however, is the adoption of her beautiful daughter.
